I like to combine my hiking with scouting for hunting spots. I wander around Spring Valley and Ceasers Creek getting my exercise while watching the animals. I also like the quietness and calmness it brings me which is very relaxing. Time and weather permitting, I would like to check out Tar Hollow a little more and possibly wander over towards Zalewski to see whats moving about.

I like the area outside of Fairbanks AK that has a great 10 mile loop on the side of a very large hill. There are a few springs to take a break at. It can be some hard walking at times. The mountains during sheep season is a great hike. I tend to go out for 7-10 days. I did a good bit of walking on the Lake Michigan shoreline.

I have never been to Zaleski I am going to try to get over there this spring and do some hiking with my Wife and Kids. I am hoping to get in better shape and enjoy the outdoors some more this year. I have just started Geocahing recently. So I will look for some while there. I also have two to hide so Might place one while there. I think I will name one after huntOhio.net.maybe we can see How many members from here are able to locate it. Mike
