Hi I new to the forum and new to hunting as well. I am a student at the university of Alabama and before I go back to school I really want to go on my first hunt. I just got a new shotgun for christmas and I am desperate to go hunting for something somewhere. I live in central ohio and am willing to go anywhere and even pay to go hunt. Unfortunately my father isn't a big hunter and really doesn't know much about it so i am pretty much on my own. I have been trying to find places and people to go with and just cant find anyone. I was wondering if anyone has any good places to go where I can get a good solid first hunting experience. I have a hunting license and everything but really just looking to a place to go.

Dude I replied to you before, send me a PM and let me know when you are in central Ohio, but I will tell you first off you will get a full days saftey lesson from me before we ever go into the field as I do not want to get shot by afirst time hunter !!!! But I also want you to experience ,,,,well the experience..... we may even invite Littleking, but seeing as how he always wants eat my shrooms at every meal....dunno yet,....

Thanks for your reply I tried to pm you but they system would not let me. I am still eager to get out and hunt. I am in school now, but I will be coming home for thanksgiving in a few weeks then after that for winter break. If your going to be hunting around then and wouldn't mind taking me out I would love to join. I am really eager to get out there and get my first real hunting experience.
