whats a good scope to put on the crossbow, it came with one of them stupid red dot scopes and the dang thing wont stay sighted in Evil or Very Mad

I was thinking of getting one of them ranging ones. how accurate are they say out to 50 yards? thanks

i use a red dot and love mine. i shoot 5" groups at 50

What is the crossbow? I am using a Parker redhot scope illuminated version. It is awesome has 4 circles that can be lit up red or green or leave off and just use the circles unlit. It was pricey 119.00'but well worth it. They are made by hawke and repackaged by Parker redhot. Goodluck Mike

You do know that you need to site it in. There are little adjustment wheels under the caps on the sides of the red dot scope, as with most scopes.
It took me about an hour to site mine in .
Shoot three shots, turn the dials/wheels for MOA, then shoot three more, etc.
I can get a 4-6 inch target area up to 40 yards now.
Check it out.
