Anyone make it out during Ginseng season. I hit a spot and got a few roots. I almost missed the plants this year. The ones I found were already dieing off. Use to sell the stuff but now I only get enough for me to go into tea.
Sassafras root and some sang make for a nice tea come a cold winter morning as one heads out after some pheasant.
Just enjoying the preparation.

Most people have given up on sang hunting. After new regs came into play alot of the rooters dropped the idea of going after it. They still will not pass it up if they come a cross it while looking for yellow root. I do wish yellow root would go up in price. I have areas loaded with it.
But 50 roots is a good year for most anyone that is not spending every chance out in the woods. You would have several ounces there, white gold.
Just enjoying the preparation.
